Wilderness Road Ride Gran Fondo

A recreational ride on paved roads in the scenic New River Valley for all cycling levels to enjoy, 5

distances to choose from ranging from a 26-mile relaxed journey for novices, to a century challenge for the fittest cyclist. This is a great ride for cyclists of all ages and athletic abilities.

ENDURE 2026 Smith Mountain Lake Ultra Triathlon will take place September 11–12.

We’re also excited to introduce a brand-new race option: the Endure 4-5-6—a true test of ultra-endurance. This event features a 4.8-mile swim, a 100k bike, and a 50k run, with rolling cutoffs at 4 hours, 9 hours, and 15 hours. The Endure 4-5-6, along with all single-day events, will now take place on Saturday, September 12.
